Our Service Relationship with Business Customers
Agreed overdrafts with a limit of up to £25,000 incur an interest rate of 10% EAR* fixed
For amounts over £25,000 we will agree a fixed or variable margin over base rate with you
Agreed overdrafts are subject to an arrangement fee of 1.75% of the limit or £50 whichever is greater for overdrafts up to £25,000
For overdrafts over £25,000 we charge an arrangement fee of 1.25% of the limit
Instant overdrafts incur an interest rate of 25% EAR* variable
Interest is calculated daily on your account and the amount of interest payable will be shown on your monthly charges statement.
Instant overdrafts may also incur additional charges such as:
£25 for an Unpaid Item charge (this is for any payment which we do not honour as it exceeds any agreed overdraft limits, thereby creating or increasing an instant overdraft)
£15 for a Paid Item charge (this is for any payment which we honour but which exceeds any agreed overdraft limits, thereby creating or increasing an instant overdraft)
Withdrawals from Metro Bank ATMs are free, however, you should be aware that there are some ATM owners who may charge for withdrawals - there should always be a warning on the screen before they do so, giving you the option to cancel the transaction.
If you use your card abroad, foreign currency transactions will be converted into sterling on the day it is paid out of your account – the exchange rate is set by MasterCard®**
Metro Bank will not charge you for international debit card transactions made in Europe***, and our rates in the rest of the world offer outstanding value. Find out more about using your credit or debit card abroad.
