First-ever Champion of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket

Transforming cricket for generations to come, from grassroots clubs all the way up to England’s superstars

We’re so proud to be partnered with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as the first-ever Champion of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket, and lead partner for the One Day women’s and men’s game.

Through our partnership with purpose, we’re putting our passion for diversity, inclusion and community into action to empower women and girls to reach their full potential in cricket and beyond.

The Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund: Championing the Future

Don’t Just Change the Game. Transform it. Find out how you can take an active role at your local club to help shape a bright future for girls’ cricket.

The Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund, co-created and co-funded with the ECB, aims to triple the number of girls’ cricket teams by breaking down barriers and creating supportive and inclusive spaces to attract and keep more girls in the sport.

The Fund will specifically focus on volunteers and coaches in girls’ cricket; so whether you are brand new to the game and would like to volunteer, a player that wants to explore how you can give back to your club, a coach considering your next qualification, or even a qualified coach looking to progress further, there will be support available to you.

Use the links below to find your local cricket club with a girls’ section, or if you’re already part of a club, reach out to your local County Cricket Board women’s and girls’ contact to find out more about how the Fund could benefit you.
