  • Halloween craft event to be held in-store on Sunday 28 October
  • Free treats, goodies and light entertainment for all the family

Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, will be holding a ‘fang-tastic’ craft event across all 60 of its stores. To kick-off Halloween celebrations, the bank is inviting the whole community to take part in its afternoon family workshops on Sunday 28 October.

From 12:00 until 16:00, local kids are invited to get creative and make their very own pumpkin decoration, ready for Halloween. What’s more Metro Man, the bank’s mascot, will be on the scene giving away ‘spook-tacular’ treats and goodies.

Iain Kirkpatrick, Managing Director of Retail Banking at Metro Bank said: “We’re looking forward to our annual Halloween workshop and can’t wait to meet even more local people, while having some light-hearted fun. So, get your creative hats on and pop in-store for a fun-filled day.”

Metro Bank stores act as a community hub for local people, hosting a range of seasonal events throughout the year, as well as charity fundraisers and networking sessions for local residents and businesses. The bank also provides schools and local youth groups with a free financial education programme Money Zone, which has already been delivered to more than 100,000 children across the UK.

Since opening its doors in 2010, the bank has been committed to providing communities with a customer-focused and convenient banking experience through its award-winning stores that are prominently located within high streets up and down the country. All stores are open at the most convenient time for customers, from early in the morning to late at night, seven days a week and the bank continues its rapid store expansion rollout, with plans to open up to six new stores this year.
