Service under maintenance

Planned maintenance on our systems

We will be carrying out planned maintenance on our systems on Sunday 21 April. This is to ensure our systems are well maintained and kept up-to-date. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

This will affect some of our services from 00:00 until 05:00:

  • Mobile and Online Banking will not be available.
  • Our contact centre will be available to take your calls. They will not be able to set up any payments or provide you with information on your balance. They can be reached on the usual number: 0345 08 08 500.
  • You’ll be able to make transactions as normal using your debit and credit cards.
  • You will be able to withdraw cash from ATMs, but you must select the 'Cash Only' option. Other options will not be working and your card will be returned to you if you select these.
  • Card transactions and payments into your account during this period may not appear on your account until Monday 22 April.

Protect yourself

We are not planning to contact you during this period. If you do receive a call from somebody saying they are from Metro Bank, please hang-up and if you wish to speak with somebody, call us back by dialling our normal number. See more information on how to protect yourself.
