David ThomassonManaging Director, Banking Products & Digital
David is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all product, digital and customer analytics-related functions; both day to day and for the long term; including the development of new products and services for customers and to deliver the bank’s commercial plan.
Prior to joining Metro Bank, David’s professional career in financial services has been both here in the UK at Barclays Bank and more recently in Australia at Macquarie Bank. In that time he has operated in leadership roles across product management, digital, payments, change and operations.
David spends his free time with his two young children, and occasionally gets the chance to go for a run or read a good book.
