Claire is responsible for all aspects of Metro Bank's People function, with a focus on developing diverse talent and capability across every level to build on the bank's unique culture. She is passionate about building capability and inspiring colleagues to be their best so they can deliver a brilliant customer experience.

Claire joined Metro Bank in 2022 and prior to commencing the interim CPO role was the Director of Performance and Reward. She brings a wealth of HR experience in financial services having previously held leadership roles at HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group. She has a track record of delivering strategic people programmes across the HR agenda.

When she’s not at work, Claire can be found at dance competitions with her daughter or out and about with her two dogs, Paddy and Murphy.
