Who’s running the prize draw?
Metro Bank plc of 1 Southampton Row, London, WC1B 5HA (‘we, us’) is the Promoter of the free prize draw.
How do I enter?
This prize draw is free to enter.
You can enter the prize draw from 09:00am on 8 September 2023 until 18:00pm 26 September 2023. We won’t accept entries received after the closing date.
To enter you need to meet the eligibility criteria set out below. You will need to go into store and quote the phrase ‘Together we rise’ to a Metro Bank employee. The Metro Bank employee will direct you to the QR code which you will need to scan. The QR code will take you to a form on our Metro Bank public website which you will need to complete with your personal details along with reading and accepting the terms and conditions of the prize draw.
You can only enter the prize draw once. In entering the prize draw, you confirm you are eligible to do so and are eligible to claim the prize.
Can I enter the free prize draw?
To enter you need to:
Be an existing Metro Bank customer
Be a UK resident.
Be age 18 or above.
You must have access to the internet
You can’t enter if:
You are an employee of Metro Bank or the England and Wales Cricket Board, or a member of the immediate families or households of such employees
Entries are limited to one per person.
Your entry won’t count if you don’t meet the above criteria. You’ll be disqualified if you stop meeting these criteria at any time before the prize draw ends (even if your entry was valid when you entered).
What is the prize?
There are 6 prizes in total. There are x3 signed shirts by members of the England Women’s ODI/Ashes team, and x3 signed bats by the members of the England Women’s ODI/Ashes team. There will be 1 prize allocated to each individual winner. The winning entrants will be unable to choose which prize they win. They will be randomly allocated.
The prizes available to win are:
x3 Cricket shirts signed by the members of the England Women’s ODI/Ashes team
x3 Bats signed by members of the England Women’s ODI/Ashes team
The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
Metro Bank will be responsible for packaging and sending the winning prizes to each individual winner. The winning prize will be sent to the customer’s provided address, or in their local store if specified by the entrant when contacted via email by Metro Bank. Metro Bank are not liable for the bat or shirt being damaged in transit after it has been dispatched.
How will the winners be chosen?
The winners list will be drawn at random on Wednesday 27th September 2023.
How will the winners be notified?
The winners will be contacted by email by Metro Bank on Thursday 28th September 2023. If Metro Bank is not able to contact the winner, we will endeavour to contact by email 3 times within a 7 working day period, and if there is no response within the 7 working days we will draw another winner. This cycle will be repeated if necessary.
The winner's first name and city will be announced on our website.
Metro Bank will endeavour to send the prize draw no later than 3 months after the closing date of the competition.
Your personal data
If you are successful in the Prize Draw, Metro Bank will use your name and city of residence on our website. You can tell us if you don’t want us to do this or if you want to limit the amount of information that we make available about a winning entry by emailing DataProtectionOfficer@metrobank.plc.uk . By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by Metro Bank or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
If you wish to withdraw from the competition at any point, please contact DataProtectionOfficer@metrobank.plc.uk.
General
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Metro Bank may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
Metro Bank reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw and these terms and conditions where it becomes necessary to do so.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
