The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. For the second time this year, colleagues from Metro Bank’s Internal Audit team got hands-on at The Felix Project’s Park Royal Depot.
Metro Bank’s Crawley store at Queens Square is ready to brew up some business buzz with the launch of its new free business networking event series partnered with Get Connected and Get Ahead. The series is designed to perk up the Crawley business community and kickstart meaningful connections. The first event will be held on Friday, 6th September, and will continue on the first Friday of every month from 9am to 10.30am.

Banking on goodwill, Metro Bank’s Credit Risk Team has recently completed their Day to Amaze with a step in the right direction – walking the entire length of London’s Victoria Line to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Colleagues from Metro Bank’s product team recently took a grave departure from their usual work, trading spreadsheets for spades to volunteer at Cemetery Park Lodge to help maintain this historic cemetery at the heart of its local community.
Metro Bank will open a new store in Chester and Gateshead by June 2025. Building work has commenced on Chester and will shortly start in Gateshead.
