Metro Bank Colleagues Help Raise Over £38,000 for The Royal British Legion During London Poppy Day

The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. On October 31st, forty Metro Bank colleagues from various teams came together to participate in this year’s London Poppy Day, helping to raise over £38,000 at Euston and St Pancras stations for the Royal British Legion. Colleagues manned stalls at both stations in London, selling poppies and other commemorative items, such as brooches, to support the fundraising efforts.

Metro Bank Colleagues Go Pink and Raise over £1300 for Breast Cancer Now

Throughout October, Metro Bank colleagues came together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising an impressive £1381 for the Breast Cancer Now charity. Colleagues participated in the charity’s Wear It Pink initiative, proudly donning pink on the official breast cancer awareness day and continuing to show their support throughout the month.
