Metro Bank continues its regional expansion with new openings to come in Newcastle and Leeds.

Metro Bank has strengthened its Large Corporate Banking team with the promotion of Simon Neale.
Metro Bank has provided a refinancing facility to High Brockholme Barns, a North Yorkshire–based wedding and events venue that has rapidly grown since opening 18 months ago.
Metro Bank has reduced rates by up to 40bps across its residential and buy-to-let product range. This includes the lender’s Near Prime and Large Loan residential range.
Metro Bank has supported Branston Golf & Country Club with a £3.3 million finance package to accelerate its expansion plans. The investment will enable the leisure business in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, to explore a number of exciting future expansion projects to deliver enhanced facilities and experiences for members and guests.
Metro Bank has improved affordability requirements across its entire residential range, widening access to its higher income multiples and lending up to six times income for certain customers in select professions.
Metro Bank has appointed Mark Trainor as Head of Corporate Banking for the Midlands. Based in Birmingham, Mark is responsible for growing Metro Bank’s corporate banking presence across the Midlands region, as well as growing a dedicated team.
Metro Bank has today announced that it has further strengthened its Buy to Let proposition by lowering its minimum loan size from £100,000 to £50,000 for all new business applications across personal, Limited Company, HMO and MUFB lending.
Metro Bank has opened a new store in Gateshead today, Friday 5th December. Gateshead marks the bank’s first location in the North East, as part of its strategy to expand its physical presence in local communities across the country.
