Borehamwood Metro Bank undertakes million steps challenge for Ukraine appeal
Colleagues at Metro Bank’s Borehamwood store will take on a monster million steps challenge to raise £300 to support Goods For Good’s Ukraine humanitarian appeal.
For Good sources essential items such as clothing, medicines, blankets and hygiene products for those in crisis and vulnerable communities around the world. Goods For Good are experts at crisis emergency response and have many years of experience and expertise supporting vital front-line charities and organisations. To date, over 3.2 million people have received goods from UK donations, with over £33 million worth of goods being donated worldwide.
The challenge is championed by Store Manager Steve Ashman, who has pledged to complete half a million steps before the end of the month, alongside colleagues Sapna Patel, Tanira Coats and Hamzah Pervez.
“Like the rest of the country, we have all been moved by the plight of millions of refugees in Ukraine and wanted to do something to help,” says Steve Ashman, Borehamwood Metro Bank’s Store Manager. “Goods For Good will be able to provide the help and practical support these refugees need and we hope we can raise as much money as possible to help.”
