Metro Bank’s Brighton store is collecting Easter Egg donations to help support Rockinghorse Children’s Charity as part of its Easter appeal.
Rockinghorse Children’s Charity is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. The charity raises money to provide live-saving medical equipment and additional services with the aim of improving the lives of sick children throughout Sussex. The charity does not receive any government funding and relies on the generous support of individuals, community groups, schools, companies and trusts.
Brighton residents and businesses can donate any size Easter Egg at its North Street store until April 3rd.
“Easter is a highlight for chocolate treats in any kid’s calendar and as a community bank we want to really help everyone be able to celebrate despite the challenging economic times,” explains Brighton Metro Bank Store Manager, Stephen Cotton. “We want to spread that joy by collecting as many Easter Eggs as possible to donate to the community. Brighton’s generosity has meant we have already received over 15 donations and we are hoping to collect at least 100.”
Metro Bank’s Brighton store can be found at 82 North Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 1ZA. The store is currently open Monday – Saturday 8:30am - 6pm. Sunday: 11am - 5pm.
