Harrow Metro Bank Colleagues Take on Tough Mudder Challenge for Local Charity
The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Harrow colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank went through Tough Mudder obstacles to raise £145 for The Amir Khan Foundation.
The Amir Khan Foundation was established in 2014 and exists to support individuals, families and communities around the world during times of hardship, urgent need and upheaval.
Led by Local Director Adam Durrant, colleagues Merina Rai, Jaskaran Dhillon, Luke Jones, Amir Hashmi, Anushiya Naganathan, Harun Nihar, Ramon Singh Heir and Kamran Beglane tackled the Tough Mudder 5K course featuring thirteen obstacles in a fast paced team orientated challenge.
“As a community bank, we were delighted to use our Day to Amaze to help,” says Adam Durrant, Metro Bank’s Harrow Local Director. “We had lots of fun as a team and took every challenge head on knowing that all money raised will go towards supporting victims of the floods in Pakistan. A massive thank you to all colleagues who came out ready to get mucky for a good cause.”
