The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, welcomed Chris Grayling, Member of Parliament for Epsom & Ewell to its High Street store last week.
Hosted by Metro Bank Local Director Sammie Zejnuli, Chris Grayling enjoyed a tour of the bank including its safe. He was keen to hear that footfall at the store was back up.
“As a community bank, we are here to support our local businesses as well as Epsom residents,” explains Epsom Metro Bank’s Local Director, Sammie Zejnuli. “Chris was very keen to hear how local businesses were faring and what effects the cost of living crisis the Bank was seeing. He commented on our extended opening hours – which are particularly popular with those who do not work the traditional 9-5 and our Magic Money Machine which helps lots of small businesses easily bank and sort their cash transactions.”
Chris spent time with Metro Bank colleagues and customers alike and was delighted to learn that store had a real mix of customers – old and young alike, consumers and businesses as well as commenting on how local all the colleagues at the Bank were.
Metro Bank’s Epsom store can be found at 91A High Street, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 8DR. The store is open Monday – Saturday: 8:30am - 6pm. Sunday: 11am - 5pm.
