The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, has just joined Colchester City Council’s Welcoming Warm Spaces initiative.
Open seven days a week including weekday evenings, Colchester Metro Bank is the ideal space for those wanting to warm up. The store not only provides free WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, but also has a restroom and baby changing facilities. As a champion of dogs, the store not only welcomes dogs with treats and a water bowl and offers them a complimentary bandana.
“We are proud to be part of this brilliant new initiative to give local residents some respite in this cost of living crisis”, commented Chris Morgan, Colchester Metro Bank’s Local Director. “Any local residents who want escape from the cold are welcome to come along and join us for a brew and a break in store.”
Metro Bank’s Colchester store can be found at 31-32 High Street, Colchester, CO1 1DB. The store is open Monday – Saturday: 8.30am - 6pm and Sunday: 11am - 5pm.
