- Swindon businesses, residents and four-legged friends are invited to Metro Bank grand opening party
- 55th store to open in Swindon
Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, is unveiling its brand-new store in Swindon on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 December. To celebrate, the community is invited to a two-day long welcome party.
With celebrations kicking off from Friday morning, local people are in for a treat, with a line-up including stilt walkers, free face painting and manicures, dog shows and a DJ ready to play all your favourite tunes. Hosted by the store’s Local Director, Jon Joyce, and Store Manager, Manish Vara, the new store can be found at 1 - 4 Regent Street, Swindon, SN1 1JQ.
The Mayor of Swindon, Councillor Maureen Penny said: “I am delighted to be officially opening the Metro Bank Swindon store. This new store will be a great addition to our local community and change the way residents and businesses do their banking.”
Craig Donaldson, CEO at Metro Bank commented: “We’re really excited to be opening our 55th store in the heart of Swindon and to show the community what great customer service and convenience looks like. Whether you simply want the choice to pop into a store that’s open when you need it, or you’re looking for the personal touch when it comes to managing your own or your business’ finances, we’re proving just what the banking revolution is all about. Every week thousands are voting with their feet in favour of a bank that puts them first and we can’t wait to make a real difference to the Swindon community.”
Swindon residents will benefit from the new store being open seven days a week, early until late, 362 days a year. Unlike any other bank, Metro Bank provides instant account opening, along with on-the-spot card printing, meaning customers can walk in without an appointment and walk out with a fully-functioning account. What’s more, the store will also have over 2,000 safe deposit boxes for customers to store their valuables and free coin counting facilities for customers and non-customers alike.
