- Back-to-school arts and crafts event to be held across Metro Bank stores on Sunday, 19 August
- Free treats, stationery and entertainment for the whole family
On Sunday 19 August, Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, will be holding free back-to-school arts and crafts events across all 57 stores. Festivities will kick off at 12:00 until 16:00 and the whole community, as well as friendly pets, are invited.
At the family-fun event, kids will create their very own personalised pencil case ready for their first-day back-to-school. Metro Man, the bank’s mascot will be on the scene serving treats and goodies alongside friendly in-store colleagues.
Iain Kirkpatrick, Managing Director of Retail Banking at Metro Bank said: “This is our very first back-to-school event which we hope will get kids ready and excited for the beginning of the term. So, put your creative hat on and pop in-store for some arts and crafts fun, as well as a great family day out. We can’t wait to welcome you all on Sunday.”
Metro Bank stores act as a real community hub, hosting a range of charity fundraisers and business networking events for local residents and businesses throughout the year. The bank also offers schools and local groups its free financial education programme Money Zone, which has already been delivered to more than 100,000 children across the UK.
