Metro Bank’s High Wycombe store is collecting Easter Egg donations to help support Wycombe Food Hub as part of its Easter appeal.
Wycombe Food Hub bridges the gap between retail shops and foodbanks to ensure good food is available to everyone at an affordable price. Unlike a traditional retail shop, nothing in the main self-select area is priced. The Food Hub operates on a model which allows participants to level fill a shopping basket with anything on display for just £3 and there are free community bag of foods available too.
High Wycombe residents and businesses can donate any size Easter Egg at its Eden Walk store until April 3rd.
“Easter is a highlight for chocolate treats in any kid’s calendar and as a community bank we want to really help everyone be able to celebrate despite the challenging economic times,” explains High Wycombe Metro Bank Store Manager Leanne Fox. “We want to spread that joy by collecting as many Easter Eggs as possible to donate to the community. We have already received 16 donations and hope to collect many more before Easter.”
