- All Metro Bank stores open Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve
Unlike others on the high street, Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, will remain open over the festive period, with store opening hours as follows:
Christmas Eve: 11:00 - 17:00
Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: 11:00 - 17:00
New Year’s Eve: 11:00 - 17:00
New Year’s Day: Closed
January 2: 08:00 - 20:00
The full service bank shuts its doors for just three days over the entire year: Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. What’s more, its 24-hour UK-based contact centres are open 365 days a year.

During the rest of the year, Metro Bank stores are open seven days a week, 8am to 8pm Monday to Fridays, 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
