31st August 2017: Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, is set to bring customer-focused banking to Ilford, with the opening of its 49th store on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th September, right in the heart of the Ilford community. To celebrate the occasion, it is holding a two-day long grand opening party – and everyone is invited.
The extravaganza will include live music, stilt walkers, giveaways, and entertainment for adults, children, as well as any four-legged friends.

Unlike others on the high street, Metro Bank is open seven days a week, early until late, and provides instant account opening, along with on-the-spot card printing for lost or stolen credit or debit cards. All stores offer safe deposit boxes for customers’ valuables and coin counting for customers and non-customers alike, free of charge.

All Metro Bank stores are open at the most convenient time for both residents and businesses, from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday and bank holidays, 362 days a year.
