Metro Bank brings the banking revolution to Aylesbury

Metro Bank’s rapid expansion continues in 2015 with the opening of its 37th store in Aylesbury. To mark the occasion, the UK’s most revolutionary bank will be holding two days of celebrations on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September.

The new Metro Bank store can be found at 45/46 Friars Square, Aylesbury, HP20 2SP. It will employ around 20 local people, and be led by Gary Bridgeman, Store Manager, and Local Director Junaid Mumtaz.

Local residents and families visiting the store will have the chance to enjoy an array of grand opening festivities; including stilt walkers, face painting, performing dogs and live music. At Metro Bank, Dogs Rule, so customers are invited to bring their canine companions along with them.

Metro Bank launched in July 2010 with a focus on providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience to customers – testament in its early until late, seven day store opening. Unlike any other bank in the UK, Metro Bank provides free coin counting for customers and non-customers with Metro Bank Magic Money Machines, instant printing and replacements for lost or stolen debit cards and safe deposit boxes for customers’ valuables.

The bank uses the most advanced technology to support customers through whichever channel they choose to use for their banking. Customers can choose to bank face-to-face in store, can call a 24 hour local contact centre manned by people not machines, bank online, or through an innovative personal mobile app.

All Metro Bank stores are open at the most convenient times for local residents and businesses; 8am - 8pm Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sundays and bank holidays, 362 days a year.
