Metro Bank continues its fast expansion this week with the opening of its 20th store in Staines-upon-Thames. To mark the opening, the UK’s most revolutionary bank will be holding two days of celebrations on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September. Staines residents and businesses visiting the store will experience an array of entertainment; including stilt walkers, face painting, performing dogs, balloons and music, as well as a new, convenient customer focused bank.
The new Staines Metro Bank store can be found at Two Rivers Shopping Centre, Staines-Upon-Thames, TW18 4WB. The team is looked after by Local Director Nita Thapar and Store Manager Reetu Jerath.
Unlike any other bank in the UK, Metro Bank is open seven days a week, early and late. It provides free coin counting for customers and non-customers with Metro Bank Magic Money Machines, instant replacements for lost or stolen debit cards*, as well as safe deposit boxes, and a 24 hour contact centre manned by people not machines. In addition, Dogs Rule at Metro Bank, so customers are invited to bring their canine friends along with them.
All of these benefits can be enjoyed at a time that is convenient to local residents and businesses as Metro Bank is open 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sunday and bank holidays, 362 days a year. Customers driving to the new Staines store will also be able to park their car for free.

The Staines opening is the latest step in Metro Bank’s expansion plan to open up to 200 stores by 2020. A further four stores are planned for 2013, including Kingston, the City of London, Edgware and Windsor.
