Over 50 Metro Bank colleagues including those from across the London region, head office teams including customer relations and the legal team with our King’s Road store took part in the 10k London Legal Walk for the second year running to raise much needed funds for the London Legal Support Trust – a trust that provides free and pro bono legal advice and support for disadvantaged people.
Metro Bank colleagues - from across the organisation - joined 16,000 volunteers from different organisations raising over £2,000 for the charity using their Day to Amaze to support the charity. Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause.
“We loved this event last year and even more colleagues took part in this fascinating stroll around London,” explained Liam Mannion, Store Manager from Metro Bank’s King’s Road store. “As enjoyable as the day was, more importantly we more than doubled the money we raised from last year – which is really rewarding as access to free legal advice is essential. A huge thank you to all our colleagues and customers who helped us raise such a fantastic sum.”
