Metro Bank hires new Midlands Head of Corporate Banking

Metro Bank has appointed Mark Trainor as Head of Corporate Banking for the Midlands. Based in Birmingham, Mark is responsible for growing Metro Bank’s corporate banking presence across the Midlands region, as well as growing a dedicated team.

With 25 years’ corporate banking experience, Mark has joined from Barclays, where he led a team of sector-focused corporate bankers in the Midlands. Prior to that he has held senior structured finance roles across NatWest and RBS.

Metro Bank supports UK businesses by providing a dedicated relationship management service. The bank’s expert Corporate and Structured Finance teams understand the importance of offering tailored solutions and offer a comprehensive suite of lending products. Metro Bank works with owner-managed and sponsor backed companies to support across a range of corporate banking activities including; refinancing, acquisitions, Management Buy-Outs/Management Buy-Ins, business growth and working capital.
