Eastbourne Metro Bank is providing goodie bags for a Chamber Golf Day on Thursday October 13th which is being held to raise funds for Children With Cancer Fund Polegate.
Hosted at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club, there are still a few tickets available for the golf day and awards dinner with prizes on offer for Straightest Drive, Nearest the Pin in 1 or 2 on various holes and Beat the Pro.
Children With Cancer Fund aims to grant wishes to children up to the age of eighteen and their families, who have, or have had, cancer and who primarily live in East Sussex, Brighton and Hove. Wishes can be practical, medical or fun and made to individual families, as well as supporting a group together by giving them quality family time. The charity also supports local hospitals and community nurses.
“As a community bank, we want to play an active role helping those in need locally,” explains Eastbourne Metro Bank Local Director Tom Meggison. “The Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce has organised this event and we are happy to support them in their fundraising for this fantastic local charity which helps so many kids and their families in East Sussex.”
