Metro Bank has supported Branston Golf & Country Club with a £3.3 million finance package to accelerate its expansion plans. The investment will enable the leisure business in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, to explore a number of exciting future expansion projects to deliver enhanced facilities and experiences for members and guests.

The bank has an established team of experts working with Hospitality and Leisure clients across the UK to support their business ambitions and growth objectives.
Branston Golf & Country Club first opened its doors in 1994. Set in the heart of Staffordshire it offers a championship golf course, health club and spa facilities including a sauna, steam room, salt room, and outdoor hot tub. It has expanded to include a purpose-built conference, dining and wedding venue and three outdoor flood lit Padel Tennis courts. The new funding package provides the club with renewed capacity to explore further enhancement projects as part of its long-term vision.
The deal was brokered by Copper Swan, a financial brokerage firm based in the East Midlands, offering tailored property, development, and commercial finance solutions for businesses.
