Metro Bank is opening its newest store in Chester City Centre this Friday 4th July. Metro Bank Chester will be based at 23-25 Foregate Street, Chester CH1 1HD.
The store will be open six days a week: Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9.30am to 4pm. Local residents and businesses will be able to access cash via the store’s external ATM.
Metro Bank is inviting businesses, new customers and the Chester community to visit its Opening Ceremony celebrations which take place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July.
Opening Ceremony
Visitors on Friday 4th July will be welcomed into the new store to meet the team, who will be on hand to help with account openings, appointment booking and general banking support. An official ribbon cutting will take place at the Metro Bank store on Foregate Street at 1pm with dignitaries from the local community, announced by Chester’s Town Crier.
In addition, Metro Bank is celebrating coming to Chester with a Fan Zone (on Eastgate Street by the junction of St Werburgh Street) from 9.30am on both Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July, where there will be giveaways including from Chester based Krum Gelato which will be providing complimentary sorbets from 11am – 2pm and a chance to find out more about Metro Bank’s products and services. Metro Bank is the ECB’s first Champion for Women’s and Girls’ cricket, and the Opening Ceremony will capture and celebrate this.

Customers can also sign up to Metro Bank online or through the mobile banking app, with account opening in less than ten minutes1.
