Metro Bank wins at Moneywise Customer Service Awards 2014

Metro Bank, the newest high street bank in more than 100 years, has scooped the Best Current Account for Branch Service Award at the prestigious Moneywise Customer Service Awards. Metro Bank also was highly commended in the category for Best Current Account for Call Centre Service.

The bank, which prides itself on offering customers the very best in service and convenience, beat off competition from banks, building societies and retailers.

Metro Bank continues its rapid expansion in 2014 most recently opening its 27th store in Milton Keynes Oakgrove with eight more stores set to open later this year. It now has more than 320,000 personal and business customer accounts and recently announced record breaking quarter one results which saw growth across lending and deposits; with year on year increases of 298% and 131% respectively.
