Colleagues from the Solihull store of the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank have put their best foot forward and raised £110 during the Big Walk for the Solihull Moors Foundation.
Colleagues Vijay Jogia, Local Business Manager, Kulvinder Dhanda, Store Manager and Customer Service Representatives Luke Bicknell, Sam Waterhouse and Alex Kemp walked the 19 miles from Studley to Solihull. All monies raised will contribute to the Foundation’s key projects which include disability, women in sport, refugees, employability and education.
The Solihull Moors Foundation works with the local community around Solihull Moors Football Club. From the chairman and the board to the players and coaches, everybody aims to inspire and create opportunities for the wider community.
Solihull Moors Foundation CEO, Becci Fox, said: “I’m really delighted that Metro Bank supported this event. They are at the heart of the community and I’m looking forward to working together on various initiatives going forward.”
