Solihull Metro Bank organised a chocolate bouquet raffle in aid of Age UK, a leading charity dedicated to assisting older individuals across the nation.
Nearly four million older people live alone in the UK with six percent living their homes less than once a week. Age UK is a vital resource for many older people.
“Thanks to customers and colleagues we raised much needed funds for Age UK,” said Solihull Metro Bank Store Manager, Kulvinder Dhanda. “The funds raised will directly contribute to Age UK’s vital work including companionship, advice, and support for older individuals facing loneliness, health challenges and financial difficulties.”
Metro Bank’s Solihull store is located at 119 High Street, Solihull B91 3SR. The store is currently open Monday – Saturday: 8.30am - 6pm. Sunday: 11am - 5pm. Solihull Metro Bank is also part of the Safe Space scheme – the store is available to anyone experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, providing the opportunity to safely call a helpline, support service or loved one.
