Metro Bank, the first new High Street bank in more than 100 years, is looking for amazing new colleagues with outstanding customer service skills to join its new store coming soon to Staines.
With roles ranging from customer service representatives to senior store management, Metro Bank is looking for up to 25 people to join the banking revolution when its Staines store opens in September 2013. The bank recruits confident and resourceful individuals with a ‘can do attitude’. Colleagues don’t have to have banking experience as full training is provided, but must have a passion for putting the customer first.
Metro Bank has a great reputation as an excellent employer and has seen a huge demand for roles at the UK’s most customer-centric and revolutionary bank. Metro Bank welcomes applications from full and part time workers, and is committed to creating a diverse workforce that represents the communities it serves. Metro Bank offers its colleagues the chance to progress quickly through the organisation. The bank has won awards for its workforce including a 2012 Mumsnet Gold Award which recognised its efforts to recruit part time colleagues.
The bank, based in London and the South East, has grown to over 170,000 personal and business customers since its launch, and the Staines opening is the latest step in Metro Bank’s expansion plan to open 200 stores by 2020.
Craig Donaldson, Chief Executive Officer of Metro Bank commented: “Metro Bank is growing and growing fast. We have already recruited over 800 colleagues, and now we are looking forward to working closely with the local community in Staines to make a difference to the way the town banks.”
"In all our roles we recruit for attitude, and we’re looking for colleagues in Staines who can demonstrate passion for what they do and love interacting with people. At Metro Bank we invest in the development of our colleagues. A job is one thing, but a career is another thing entirely. We give opportunities to those looking to build a career with the bank, and support our talent by providing a well-established training and development programme.”
