Craig Donaldson, Chief Executive Officer at Metro Bank, said: “We are delighted to move into Windsor and become part of a community that we admire. Metro Bank is a community bank with each of our stores run by a local bank manager who works closely with local people and businesses to really understand their needs. This means we live and breathe our motto of ‘Local Bankers Making Local Loans’; something that has been incredibly well received locally at our nearby stores in Staines, Reading and Slough.

“Metro Bank’s continued success and growth is a triumph for amazing customer service. We know what customers want, and we’ve seen thousands of people join us for the unparalleled levels of service and convenience we offer. We are very excited that from 6th December people and businesses in the area will be able to switch to our award winning current account** in just seven working days through our Easy, Instant and Guaranteed service. We look forward to welcoming personal and business customers in Windsor to join us on our journey as we revolutionise British banking."

Commenting on the opening, Adam Afriyie, MP for Windsor, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Metro Bank to Windsor and it’s an honour to open their new store. Metro Bank is a new challenger bank which aims to offer choice in retail banking for people with busy lives and I hope it will be a great asset to our area."
