Metro Bank’s Uxbridge store is collecting Easter egg donations to help support Hillingdon Young Carers Trust as part of its Easter appeal.
Carers Trust Hillingdon is a local charity based in Uxbridge that operates support services for unpaid carers living or caring in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The charity supports carers from as young as five years old and has a great range of support for children and young people who are caring in their formative years, as well over 80 free services for adult carers.
Uxbridge residents and businesses can donate any size Easter egg at its High Street store.
“Easter is a highlight for chocolate treats in any kid’s calendar and as a community bank we want to really help local young carers by supporting this fantastic charity,” explains Mohammed Sadiq, Uxbridge Metro Bank’s store manager. “We want to collect as many Easter eggs as possible to donate to the community. Uxbridge’s generosity has meant we have already received over 20 donations and hope to collect over 75 before Easter.”
The Uxbridge Metro Bank store is located at The Pavilions Shopping Centre, 50 High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1JP. The store is open Monday – Saturday: 8.30am - 6pm. Sunday: 11am - 5pm.
