What is the maximum spend for a contactless payment?

The limit of how much you can spend when using your debit or credit card for a contactless payment is now £100, for both personal and business customers. We are rolling out these changes in phases, which should be complete by the end of November. Once your card has been updated, you’ll need to make a chip and pin payment to activate the new limit.
