Metro Bank Colleagues Join Forces for London Poppy Day

The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Sixteen Metro Bank colleagues, from different areas of the business, came together to participate in London Poppy Day.

Metro Bank’s Wolverhampton store donated £300 to groups of students from the University of Wolverhampton. Each group had to transform a tenner into something of greater value for a local charity, The Good Shepherd.

Colleagues from Metro Bank’s Consumer Finance Team based in the Bank’s Holborn headquarters tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge with their Day to Amaze to raise money for Cancer Research.
