Metro Bank stores in Birmingham, Solihull, Wolverhampton and Merry Hill will be celebrating the 130th birthday of Birmingham Dogs Home in stores from Monday March 21st – Sunday 27th.
Metro Bank colleagues volunteered to help Birmingham Dogs Home at this year’s Crufts – helping out with the stand and kids craft section for which Metro Bank donated 500 windmills, packs of crayons and financial education sheets with colouring in for kids to play with while their parents chatted with the Home staff about donations and adoptions.

In the spirit of celebrating International Women’s Day, Oxford Metro Bank will be hosting a seminar organised by Oxfordshire Women’s Forum. The seminar will focus on imposter syndrome, understanding the different ways that it can manifest itself in everyday life and sharing tools to combat it. The event will take place on Tuesday 15 March at 6pm in Metro Bank’s Queen Street store.

On Friday 25th March, Swindon’s Metro Bank store will launch a new networking group called ‘Swindon Metro Bank Breakfast Group’. The aim of the group is to support local entrepreneurs and businesses to grow and flourish by making new connections and mentors. The group consists of business professionals and will meet on a fortnightly basis to have meaningful conversations, exchange ideas and create long lasting relationships.
