The 4 winners will be chosen at random by a randomiser software online. The winners will be announced on the @Metro_Bank Instagram on Wednesday 6 December 2023.
3.1 The competition will run from 29 h November 2023 to 11.59am, 6 December 2023.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by Metro Bank no later than 11.59am on 6 December 2023. All competition entries received after the closing date and time will be automatically disqualified.

3.4 Entrants will only be included in the competition ballot once – multiple entries will not be counted.
3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4.1 The competition is open to UK residents only.
4.2 If you're under the age of 18, you must have permission from your parent or guardian before entering the competition.
4.3 Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.4 Metro Bank reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4.5 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize.
5.1 The competition prize is 1x £250 e-voucher for a hamper from Abel and Cole. The winners will need to set up a gift account if they’d like to order online (it is free to set up this account, and there is no obligation to buy a subscription or anything additional) and can then choose their items for their hamper and a preferred delivery date. Alternatively, the winners can call Abel and Cole to place an order over the phone, and can also find out where the food is sourced from if they want to.
5.2 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.3 The chosen winner will be contacted via DM on Instagram by @Metro_Bank.
5.4 In order to claim the prize you must DM us your contact details through Instagram once you have been notified you are the winner. We will notify you by replying to your entry via DM. Please do not provide your personal details in a post or story that is visible to others.
5.5 By entering this competition, you give Metro Bank the right to use your Instagram username to announce you as the winner on social media.
6.1 The winner of the competition will be announced on Metro Bank’s Instagram page on Thursday 8th December 2023.
6.2 Once the winner is announced, they will be receive a DM from @Metro_Bank to tell them they have won. They must reply to this DM to claim their prize.
7.1 Please allow up to 30 days for delivery of the prize.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’syour behalf.
7.3 Metro Bank will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner does not make contact after Metro Bank has made two attempts to get in touch, or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of the announcement date, Metro Bank reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the closing date.
7.4 Metro Bank does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take up the prize.
Insofar as is permitted by law, Metro Bank will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Metro Bank, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9.1 All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to Metro Bank will become the property of Metro Bank on receipt and will not be returned.
9.2 In relation to the competition entries and any accompanying material you submit, you agree to:
(a) assign to Metro Bank all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
9.3 You agree that Metro Bank may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website www.metrobankonline.co.uk and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity for the competition. You agree to grant Metro Bank a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
10.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that Metro Bank may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
10.2 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by Metro Bank or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Metro Bank may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 Metro Bank reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 Metro Bank reserves the right to not include an entry into the competition if the content of the comment is inappropriate, and further reserves the right to report any inappropriate posts or comments to Instagram.
11.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by UK law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
