Canterbury Metro Bank Colleagues Climb Snowdon and Raise over £500 for Local Charity

The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Hayden Saveall and Darian Lewis, Customer Service Representatives from Metro Bank’s Canterbury store chose to take on a mammoth task for their Day to Amaze by climbing Mount Snowdon to raise £560 in aid of Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service, a charity which provides support to people affected by domestic abuse across Kent.

Leicester Metro Bank Colleagues Raise over £3k for Race for Life

The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause and 16 Metro Bank colleagues from the Leicester area raised £3,021.25 at the recent Cancer Research’s Race for Life in Leicester on July 24th.

Interim Results for Half Year 2022

Daniel Frumkin, Chief Executive Officer at Metro Bank, said: “We have delivered a strong first-half performance and I am encouraged by the continued momentum we are seeing across the bank. Initiatives we have put in place have helped us to improve NIM and lending yield, and drive record revenue growth. We have also maintained our cost discipline and improved our cost to income ratio, with the focus on generating greater earnings from our capital base. As a result, we have built a sustainable business and we now expect to reach monthly breakeven during Q1 2023.
