On Wednesday 12 October, Metro Bank will be joining St Joan of Arc Catholic School’s career fair to chat with students and parents about a potential career in banking.

Eight colleagues from Metro Bank’s people team chose to use their Day to Amaze to fundraise for Ukrainian refugees. Colleagues joined thousands in The New Balance Big Relay and raised £628 for Care4Calais – a charity supporting refugees in Calais and areas affected by the European migrant crisis.

Birmingham Central Breakfast is a networking group of business professionals who meet up bi-weekly to connect, establish strong relationships and help one another grow their businesses. The event is organised by Sterling Network Groups which has a track record of building and supporting businesses through networking.

Crawley colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, joined Aura as volunteer guardians to travel through Crawley as part of her odyssey. Her tour was part of ‘Enliven: You’re Welcome,’ a season of outdoor performances and indoor creativity to celebrate the diversity of Crawley's residents and their welcoming nature. Created by Animated Objects Theatre Company and Inspired by Homer’s classic tales, five-metre tall puppet Aura is a young civilian survivor displaced by the Trojan wars.
