Go to the ‘Customer invoices’ tab and click the ‘Create invoice’ button. If you’ve connected Sage, Quickbooks or Xero to Invoice It, an invoice will be created in your account with them. If not, an invoice will be created in Invoice It.
App:
You can only create an invoice in the Invoice It app if you have connected Sage, Quickbooks or Xero. Go to the ‘Get paid’ tab and select the + button.

Yes. Please note, to pay the invoice via a payment request your customer must have a UK bank account. If the request is sent by text (SMS) it must be sent to a UK number.
You will need to provide your IBAN number, Swift / BIC Code, account name / address and Metro Bank’s address to your customer.
You can mark an invoice as void in Sage, Quickbooks or Xero if you have connected one of these to Invoice It.

App:
You cannot mark an invoice as void in the Invoice It app.
You cannot write off an invoice in Invoice It. You can write off an invoice in Sage, Quickbooks or Xero if you have connected one of these to Invoice It.

If your customer pays after clicking on an invoice link in a payment request, their payment will automatically reconcile to an invoice, either in Sage, Quickbooks or Xero (if you have linked one of these) or in Invoice It. If your customer pays a different way, the payment will not automatically reconcile.

Choose the payment in the ‘Payment request’ tab, and check ‘Mark as paid’. If you have connected Sage, Quickbooks or Xero to Invoice It, you will also need to mark it as paid there.
App:
Choose the payment in the ‘Get paid’ tab, and tap ‘Update status to paid’. If you have connected Sage, Quickbooks or Xero to Invoice It, you will also need to update the invoice to paid in the accounting package.
This can’t happen because the invoice and payment request are linked.
